We have joyfully bought our new home in Phoenixville. It is a stone’s throw from our church partner, St. Ann’s. It has not been an easy journey, but it has ended with a place to house homeless pregnant moms searching for direction in life.

Our approach to helping all of our clients is to ask, “Why is it a crisis pregnancy?” For some, it’s to find a new job, for others, to finish their education, and for some – it’s to find a permanent home. The answer to the question becomes their goals for moving through their crises.  We address all those goals in our services, including our housing service.

The home provides a unique opportunity to remove the client from their environment and provide a safe haven for contemplating their next chapter. The home incorporates another service into its program, which is to give financial disbursements to achieve the goals that have been identified. It’s not to be confusing with our Corporate Independence program, which provides a financial disbursement of up to $2,500/year for four years, but more to lay the groundwork for becoming independent of the government and us.

We also address the lifestyle component of their situation. We ask our clients if they would like to hear about a Catholic and Christian lifestyle that saves the procreation of children for marriage. Some of our clients have never heard of the concept of Chastity, so we gently introduce a lifestyle that is free and independent of crisis pregnancies.

A very small percentage of our clients come to us to choose life for their unborn child, and for those mothers and fathers, we offer free ultrasounds. Most of them come to us because we offer so much to mothers, fathers, and families in a crisis pregnancy – we give them hope and encouragement to choose life.

We hope to inspire others to take on the challenge of applying their Catholic faith with works of Mercy and Charity like us. In Jesus’ name, we pray.
